What’s going on in New Jersey this fall…

Toms River, New Jersey (PRWEB) September 17, 2015

Just because summer is winding down does not mean guests should scramble away from the beach. Surf & Stream Campground has narrowed down great family activities that are even better to visit this time of year. Below is a list of outdoor fun the Garden State has to offer within 30 miles of the campground.

The perfect fall fishing destination for the whole family is located in Manasquan, New Jersey at Fisherman’s Cove Conservation Area. Nature lovers can enjoy the 55 acre site while fishing, walking and picnicking in the park. For directions and additional information, visit http://www.monmouthcountyparks.com/page.aspx?Id=2521.

Outdoor enthusiasts can also revel in an afternoon at Allaire State Park in Wall Township, New Jersey. Just a short 20 minute drive away from the resort, the land is well known for its historic Allaire Village, a restored 19th century iron-producing town that has become a very popular visiting spot today. Check their website for upcoming fall events http://allairevillage.org/.

Monmouth Battlefield State Park, where one of the largest battles of the American Revolution occurred, is now a place where patrons can relax and appreciate the scenery. The grounds, based in Manalapan, New Jersey, consists of miles of trails for hiking and horseback riding, picnic tables, as well as a restored Revolutionary War farmhouse and a visitor’s center.
